ER並みの医療ドラマだと思ったら、著者はcritical/trauma care専門の看護師さんだそう。
ロマンスの中に治療エピソードが挿入されているのではなく、治療エピソードの中にロマンスが挿入されているという印象でした。　単語にしてもたとえばkidney failureではなくrenal failure（腎不全）という言葉を使っていて、医療もの好きとか医学のバックグラウンドありとか、ちょっと通向けの作品かも。
ヒーローとヒロインは医者同士で、社会的にも経済的にもまったく対等な関係だという設定が好印象でした。
