Derekの半生って凄いです。なかなか魅力的なヒーローだとは思うけど、病気持ってないか心配になります（苦笑）。
Secret Life of Mrs Beeton のDVDを見てから、あまりに不特定多数の人と関係をもったヒーローって、梅毒とかの性病持ちじゃないか気になるんですよね。　Mrs Beetonは売春婦経由で夫から移された梅毒のせいで、何度も流産したり、無事に出産しても子どもが幼いうちに死んでしまったりとか、さんざん苦労して、挙句の果てに夫より早く亡くなってしまいました（夫は精神症状が出ていたし）。
コナンドイルの事件簿（ドラマ）でもありましが、昔、梅毒は結構蔓延していて悲惨だったと思うんですよね。やっぱりWulfricタイプのヒーローのほうが安心して読めます。　　
そもそもロマンス小説は現実逃避の世界なんだけど、やっぱり医学的な観点からは完全に切り離して読めない自分がいます・・・。

Kleypas、続けて読んでみて面白いとは思いましたが、どちらかといえば私にとっては読書エネルギー消耗型のようなので、これで（2冊で）十分かなと思います。
